Custom Driveway Gates in Los Angeles & San Fernando Valley

A driveway gate should work with the entrance, not fight it. Zeus Ironworks creates custom driveway gate metalwork for properties in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.

An entrance built around the opening

A driveway has more to consider than the width between two posts. The slope, vehicle approach, available clearance, and nearby walls all influence the design. Start with the way you enter and leave the property, then consider how open or enclosed you want the gate to feel.

Our gallery shows a curved-top double driveway gate and other entrance designs that can help you communicate your preferences. A design reference is useful, but the proportions and installation details must be worked out for your particular opening. We do not assume a design will fit simply because it looks right in a photo.

Bring the surroundings into the design

The gate can pick up lines from the home, adjacent fencing, or masonry columns. A more solid design offers a different appearance from an open-bar pattern. Your preferred height, visual weight, and finish should be discussed alongside practical details such as hardware and attachment points.

Photograph the entire entrance from inside and outside the property. Include the ground beneath the proposed gate, nearby obstacles, and the posts or columns. If a gate is already in place, photos of the hinges, latch, and any equipment help us understand what may be retained or needs further review.

Discuss equipment and site conditions early

If you have an automatic operator or want to explore automation, tell us during the initial conversation. Gate fabrication, operator compatibility, electrical work, and access controls are separate considerations. Any equipment-related scope must be confirmed before work begins; it is not automatically included with a gate estimate.

The estimate will depend on dimensions, design, materials, finish, hardware, and the installation conditions. We can start with photos and approximate measurements, then discuss the next step. Share your city, the opening size, and whether you are planning a new entrance or replacing an existing gate.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Your questions, answered.

Can I replace a gate while keeping my existing equipment?

Possibly, but compatibility must be reviewed. Send photos and any equipment details so the relevant requirements can be discussed.

What if my driveway slopes?

Include photos that clearly show the slope and approach. Ground clearance and gate movement need to be considered for the site.

Can you match a pedestrian gate to the driveway gate?

We can discuss a coordinated design for both openings. Provide photos and approximate dimensions of each entrance.
